The highly anticipated sequel to Vada Chennai, directed by Vetrimaaran and starring Dhanush, has taken a surprising turn. Fans have been eagerly awaiting updates, but conflicting reports had previously suggested that neither Dhanush nor Vetrimaaran would be involved in Vada Chennai 2.

Earlier, rumors spread that the film would be helmed by one of Vetrimaaran’s assistants, with Manikandan in the lead role. However, the latest reports indicate that Vetrimaaran will indeed direct the sequel, and Dhanush will reprise his role. Additionally, Isari Ganesh is expected to produce the film under Vels Films International.

It is said that Dhanush, Vetrimaaran, and Isari Ganesh recently met to discuss the project, with plans to begin shooting next year. This confirmation has delighted fans, reaffirming that Vada Chennai 2 will not proceed without Dhanush.
