'Thor: Love and Thunder' is the next major release from Marvel Studios and one of the important films in MCU's phase 4. The sequel will cover the redemption arc of the Odinson after the events of 'Infinity War' and 'Endgame'. The movie is slated to hit the big screens in India on July 7.

Directed by Taika Waititi, Chris Hemsworth returns as the titular superhero while Natalie Portman reprises her role as Jane Foster and Tessa Thompson is back as Valkyrie. Renowned Hollywood star Christian Bale is playing the mighty villain Gorr, the god butcher. While the trailer released became viral already, the makers launched a sneak peek yesterday.

The first official clip of 'Thor: Love and Thunder' was unleashed at the MTV Movie Awards 2022 on Monday. The 25-second clip shows Thor feeling elated as he found his old hammer called Mjolnir, which was broken by Hela in 'Thor 3'. Now, the god of thunder reaches for his Mjolnir in the new 'Thor 4' clip but he later finds that it obeys his former lover Jane Foster.

Thor not only reunites with his ex-lover but also learns that Jane is worthy of carrying the Mjolnir hammer. Foster will assume the mantle of Mighty Thor in 'Love and Thunder'. It is gonna be a double treat for the Marvel fans as we get to witness both god and goddess of thunder taking on the god butcher. Russell Crowe cameos as Zeus in 'Thor: Love and Thunder'.
