On Wednesday, 'Das Ka Dhamki' was released in theatres marking Ugadi. A gaffe by the management of Sukanya Theatre in Vizag meant that Ravi Teja's 'Dhamaka' was screened in the theatre instead of Vishwak Sen's latest release.
Since the two film titles sound somewhat similar due to 'Dhamki' and 'Dhamaka', the operators seemed to have been confused. Those who went to watch the movie captured the film on their mobiles and posted it on social media.
Reacting to the news, the 'Falaknuma Das' actor said that confusion sometimes happens.
Earlier, there was a suspicion that 'Das Ka Dhamki' has got a similar storyline as 'Dhamaka'. It turned out that there is no truth in the same. Writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada had only said that the premise is the same and not the storyline. 'Dhamki', co-starring Rao Ramesh and Nivetha Pethuraj, has music by Leon James. Produced and directed by the hero himself, it minted Rs 8.80 Cr in theatres on its first day worldwide.
