Taylor Swift blindsided the world Friday morning with a surprise second half to her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," just two hours after its original midnight release. At 31 songs, the album's deluxe reissue is 15 longer than the original.

Interestingly, allusions to Kim Kardashian are visible in two of the songs. The track "Thank you, aIMee" is where one of Swift's staple styles comes to light. Swift uses capital letters to encrypt a hidden message, possibly alluding to a mean schoolgirl named "KIM," seemingly a reference to Kardashian's well-publicized rivalry with Swift.

In her Time Person of the Year interview, Swift bared her heart on her tempestuous relationship with Kardashian, reiterating it was damaging to her mental health. The heated drama started with West's song "Famous," with Kardashian releasing a recorded phone conversation between the two artists that then set off a maelstrom.

Swift delves into Greek mythology in one of the tracks of the new album, "Cassandra," referencing the cursed prophetess who received no serious attention. The album prominently features the theme of betrayal and disbelief, as Swift focuses on concepts of growth and healing.

Released while on a gap in her Eras Tour, "Tortured Poets" brings another solid addition to Swift's critically acclaimed discography and showcases her growth as a musician. Sure, this one will take its place on the next tour, all the fans presume.
