Snoop Dogg, a 2016 WWE Hall Of Fame inductee, recently made a surprising announcement about quitting cannabis. Throughout his career, Snoop Dogg has been synonymous with marijuana, incorporating it into his business ventures and public image.

Taking to Twitter, Snoop Dogg shared, "I’m giving up smoke. After careful thought & discussions with my family, I’ve decided to quit. Kindly respect my privacy during this time." Although known for his association with cannabis, he has sporadically appeared in WWE and AEW shows, notably performing a frog splash on AEW Dynamite's January 6, 2021, episode.

Maintaining ties with WWE, Snoop collaborated on Undertaker-themed apparel and contributed to the WWE Champions mobile game. At WrestleMania 39, he wrestled his first WWE match, defeating The Miz on Night 2. This isn't Snoop Dogg's first attempt at sobriety; he previously stated in 2002 that he was quitting the drug permanently. However, he experienced a relapse shortly after, a period humorously referenced in Adam Sandler's film, "50 First Dates."

The rap icon's decision to give up cannabis marks a significant shift from his long-standing association with the substance.
