Shweta Basu Prasad, known for movies like “Kotta Bangaru Lokam” and “Ride,” recently shared that she faced difficulties on the set of a Telugu film due to her height. She revealed that the film’s lead actor made comments about her height during filming.

She mentioned that this was the only time she experienced bullying in her career. While she didn’t mention specific names, it was clear she was referring to Varun Sandesh and her debut Telugu film, “Kotta Bangaru Lokam.”

Shweta also pointed out that, despite coming from a Telugu background, the hero struggled to speak the language properly, which affected the film. It is known that Varun Sandesh faced issues with Telugu fluency due to his upbringing in the United States.

She made these statements while promoting her upcoming Hindi web series in an interview with a YouTuber.

Varun Sandesh, once a leading actor, has now faded from the industry, while Shweta no longer has a career in Telugu cinema.
