Renowned as Karate Husseini, Shihan Husseini was undergoing treatment for blood cancer. Assistance for his medical treatment was provided by Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin and others. Despite continuous treatment, he passed away today, leaving his students and fans in deep sorrow.
Shihan Husseini, a native of Madurai, made his debut in K. Balachander's film "Punnagai Mannan." A karate master, he acted in several films, including "Badri," where he played Vijay's karate instructor. He trained over 400 archers and played a key role in modern archery in Tamil Nadu.
Diagnosed with blood cancer and aplastic anemia, he had shared a heartfelt video stating, "I will return," which deeply affected his followers. Recently, he announced on Facebook that he wished to donate his body for medical research. He expressed his desire to donate his body to Sri Ramachandra Medical College after three days of his passing, while requesting that his heart be handed over to his archery and karate students.
