Aadi Pinishetty, who is known for picking interesting roles and films, is now coming up with his new outing, Shabdham. Directed by Arivazhagan, this movie features Lakshmi Menon as the female lead. Touted to be a horror thriller, the trailer of this movie was unveiled today.

The trailer starts off by introducing a young lady who is suffering from a rare disorder called 'audio hallucination' where she suffers from eerie and scary sounds that are audible only to her. Aadi is introduced as a paranormal investigator who takes up the case. Heroine Lakshmi Menon is introduced as someone who doesn't believe in any paranormal activities but had to, once it is revealed that a ghost is using sonic and supersonic sounds to torture victims. Then, we get a glimpse of a few interesting moments, which raise curiosity about the film's content.

This is the second film in the combination of Arivazhagan and Aadi Pinishetty, after the super successful horror thriller "Eeram" (Vaishali in Telugu). The trailer looks good with a stunning background score composed by Thaman.

Shabdham features Simran, Laila, Redin Kingsley, MS Baskar, Rajiv Menon and Vivek Prasanna in other key roles. 7G Shiva produced the film. It is slated for a worldwide release on February 28, 2025.
