Sathriyan has Vikram Prabhu and Manjima Mohan in the lead cast directed by Prabhakaran of Suntharapandian and IKK fame. Yuvan has scored music for this short album which has only 3 major tracks and a theme song.

Sooda Oru Sooriyan : Listen Here

A full on folk song from Yuvan reminds us of so many timeless village centric songs over the years. A country like song tweaked with local instrumentations like tavil and recursive table gets on a catchy tune. Paarai Mel: Listen Here

A romantic combo from Yuvan sprays his trademark all over the track. Keeping the usual urban flavors, Yuvan varies from retro classic between interludes to grasping melody. A male solo crooned by Yuvan speaks of eye candy love with some soul dwelling lyrics. Theme song: Listen Here

Sathriyan in Action as the title track goes orchestrates itself slowly into action mode. The vibe of the track has a peculiar investigative notion to it, the whistling segment is probably to show the hero’s lazy action gesture. A short track might do more justice to its purpose with the

Verdict : Yuvan manages to prove his credibility with the short album
