RGV told me I can kick him on that body part: Nagarjuna

Speaking at the pre-release event of 'Officer', Nagarjuna made it clear how much he is still in awe of Ram Gopal Varma's style. He began saying, "Ramu, even you have tears in eyes? I could see them today!"

"They say that TFI has to be categorized into 'Before Shiva' and 'After Shiva'. The film may have given RGV a break but it gave me Amala. People always say I still look young. Forget about my age, please. I am still young. As Chaitanya just said that I am his brother," Nag quipped.

"Thanks to RGV, I got to work with very young people while shooting for 'Officer'. It's a good change for me. As for the script, I was thoroughly impressed upon listening to it. The film shows the kind of officer you want to see in real life. He fights for what he believes in. He doesn't fear anything. He can face anybody, and can sacrifice anything," Nag said.

"Before the film went on the floors, RGV wrote a long letter to me. It had some cuss words and so I can't read it out publicly. He told me I can beat him up somewhere (a body part) if he fails to do what he had promised. Don't worry, Ramu, I won't kick you," Nag said.

"After 'Shiva', I am sorry to say, no film has been so sound-based, the kind of sound that can take a film forward. I am not saying this because I did 'Shiva'. The film is Ramu's. The sound of 'Officer' will hit you right here (points towards his heart). The action scenes are not violent but brutal and very real. How will two enemies fight if they were to be at loggerheads? 'Officer' shows it as it is. Bruce Lee, Sylvester Stallone are the ultimate action heroes. Ramu has shown me remarkably as an action hero in this film," Nag signed off.
