27 year old professional Moto Racer, Ashwin Sundar and his wife faced an unfortunate end on Saturday midnight when they were burned to death in an awful car accident.

Ashwin and his wife, Niveditha (26), who was a doctor by profession, were returning to their home at Porur after visiting a friend at Raja Annamalaipuram near MRC Nagar in Chennai. At around 3:30 AM on Saturday, the BMW, in which the couple was travelling, lost control and rammed into a nearby tree. The car immediately burst into flames, as Ashwin and Niveditha were stranded inside the burning car, unable to get out. Onlookers couldn't help, but watch while filming the incident. Mylapore Police and Fire-personnel rushed to spot and recovered the charred bodies of the deceased.

Ashwin, who started to drive a car at the mere age of 8 went on to win the MRF Formula 1600 International Challenge Championship in 2010 and 2011. In 2012 and 2013, he also won the Formula 4 National Championship. In social media, condolences are being shared for the couple's tragic death.

IndiaGlitz mourns the most untimely death of the young couple and we convey our deepest condolences to the bereaved family and friends of Ashwin and Niveditha.
