The movie "Thandel," featuring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is directed by Sandhu Mondatti. Produced by Bunny Vasu under Geetha Arts, it is presented by Allu Aravind. In Tamil, it is being released by Dream Warrior Pictures. Based on true events, the film is set to hit the screens on the 7th of this month. A press meet for the movie was held in Chennai.

Speaking at the event, producer Allu Aravind mentioned, "Both Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi have worked hard for this movie. 'Thandel' has shaped up to be a quality film. The storyline is simple but is presented exceptionally by the director. For this story, rights from 20 individuals have been acquired. They are former prisoners released from a Pakistani jail. The director has beautifully narrated their story in a 2-hour movie format. I thank director Sandhu for transforming it into a remarkable piece of art. Additionally, Karunakaran is making his debut in Telugu through this movie, and his performance will be appreciated."

The press event was graced by Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi, actor Karthi, Aadukalam Naren, and directors Venkat Prabhu and Karthik Subbaraj.
