Director Mysskin recently spoke at the pre-release event of the film "Dragon," starring Pradeep Ranganathan, which is set to hit theaters on the 21st of this month. The film, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, also features Anupama and Kayadu Lohar.
During his speech, Mysskin humorously mentioned, "Today, I won’t be using any harsh words; they’ve already taken one of my horns, and only one is left. Pradeep Ranganathan is like Bruce Lee, though he hasn't done any action films yet. But if he collaborates with me, he will surely do one. It’s refreshing to see a young star rise in cinema after a long time."
He continued, praising Pradeep's dedication to his craft, saying, "He has worked hard and earned his success. In 'Dragon,' I play the villain, but a good villain. Pradeep is a very committed actor, much like Vijay Sethupathi. Unlike many actors who rise quickly and stagnate, Pradeep has built a significant fan base at such a young age. When my assistant directors ask about him, I proudly say he is indeed special."
Mysskin also acknowledged director Ashwath Marimuthu’s hard work and dedication. Additionally, he voiced concerns about the suppression of a female-directed film, "Bad Girl," emphasizing the importance of supporting women filmmakers.
Before concluding, Mysskin remarked humorously about his own career, saying, "Here is a director who will soon retire from cinema," while looking at his own photograph.
