Artificial Intelligence (AI) is taking over the world and it has also become an integral part of filmmaking. Of late, we have been seeing many YouTube videos and short films being made using AI technology. Now, gear up to watch an entirely AI-made film in theatres. India's first AI film Naisha is here and the makers have released its official theatrical trailer on social media.

The trailer introduces us to Naisha, who is half-Bengali and half-Mizo, and Zain, a stand-up comedian, rapper and swimmer. Both of them cross their paths and become close. While Naisha develops feelings towards Zain, the latter doesn't reciprocate as he doesn't believe in love. Eventually, they break up and part ways. Later, Naisha goes on to become a top actress. What happens next between the couple might be the main crux of the movie.

The makers should be commended for pulling off an entire feature film using AI technology. Though some of the visuals are jarring, most of the time, we can see the consistency. In the end, it is the first AI film and things will only get better from now on. Naisha gives us a glimpse of what the future is going to be.

Naisha is created and directed by Naisha Anchalia. Pori Bhuyan, Shweta Sharma Anchalia and Joseph Franklin jointly produced the project. Naisha is set for a theatrical release in May 2025.
