Mohanlal's recent statement about being open to acting in a Tamil mass film if invited has been creating a buzz on social media.

The superstar's upcoming film, Empuraan, is set to hit theaters worldwide on the 27th. The movie will be released in five languages—Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Following the trailer release, expectations for the film have skyrocketed.

As part of the promotions, Mohanlal has been giving interviews to various media outlets. In a recent interaction with a leading Tamil media house, he was asked whether he received more Tamil film opportunities after Jailer and which Tamil film he would act in next.

Responding to this, Mohanlal said, "I received many offers, but I was busy shooting for Empuraan and couldn't take them up. Currently, the shooting for Jailer 2 has begun. If I am called for that film, I will definitely act."

Following this statement, fans are eagerly speculating whether director Nelson will create another special role for Mohanlal in Jailer 2, just like he did in the first part.
