At the promotional event for the movie "Animal" in Hyderabad, Mahesh Babu praised lead actor Ranbir Kapoor. Speaking highly of him, Mahesh hailed Ranbir as the 'best actor in India.' Dressed casually in a blue T-shirt and jeans, Mahesh expressed his admiration for Ranbir, mentioning that he had previously conveyed this sentiment to him. “I've expressed this to him before, but I don't think he took it seriously. I am a huge Ranbir Kapoor fan, and in my opinion, he is the best actor in India,” Mahesh said, with Ranbir and the film team behind him. Ranbir, visibly touched, smiled at Mahesh Babu's words.

When Ranbir got the chance to speak, he acknowledged Mahesh, “You were the first superstar Mahesh Babu I ever met.” He recounted messaging Mahesh after watching "Okkadu," expressing gratitude for his support. He ended by chanting, “Jai Babu, Jai Babu.”

Fans celebrated the camaraderie between the two actors. “Mahesh Babu's words for Ranbir Kapoor are the highest honor any Bollywood star could receive. So proud!” tweeted a fan. Another fan praised both actors, saying, “Being a massive fan of Ranbir Kapoor is like being on cloud nine! He is undoubtedly the ultimate rockstar of Indian cinema. But let's also not forget the incredible talent of Superstar Mahesh Babu!”

At the event, Ranbir also met filmmaker SS Rajamouli and humbly touched his feet. Rajamouli declared Ranbir as his favorite actor, challenging him to choose between working with Sandeep Reddy Vanga and himself. Ranbir picked Vanga.

Regarding the movie "Animal," Ranbir revealed, “Once you see the film, you will understand.” He explained that the title reflects the character's instinctive behavior to protect his family, linking it to impulsive behavior, which defines the essence of the movie.

The trailer received a tremendous response from fans, hinting at Ranbir's character's intense persona shaped by a troubled upbringing. The film is set to release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages on December 1, with a reported runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes.
