Actor Sivakarthikeyan, who is on a roll with the super success of Amaran, joined forces with acclaimed director AR Murugadoss for a new film titled Madharasi. The film was launched last year with a tentative title SK 23. Finally, the title, the first look poster and the title glimpse of this movie were unveiled today on the occasion of Siva Karthikeyan's birthday.

The teaser doesn't feature any dialogue but gives us a glimpse of stunning action sequences in the movie. It is slick and creates intrigue among action-movie lovers. The visuals are well-complimented by Anirudh Ravichander's background score. It looks like finally Murugadoss, who has been going through a rough patch, might make a strong comeback with this film.

Madharasi features Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead and Vidyut Jamwal as the antagonist. Biju Menon, Shabeer Kallarakkal and Vikranth play the other key roles in it. Sri Lakshmi Movies is bankrolling the project. The release details are expected to be announced soon.

Apart from this, Sivakarithikeyan also has Parasakthi in the pipeline, which is being helmed by Sudha Kongara. On the other side, Murugadoss is directing Salman Khan's Sikander, which is due for Eid 2025 release.
