Vasu (Rio Raj) has lost faith in marriage and family due to his parents' separation. Despite growing up with traditionalist guardians, Mano (Gopika Ramesh) understands the value of family. They fall in love but later break up. Soon after, Mano discovers she is pregnant, but Vasu insists on an abortion. The story revolves around whether Mano agrees or not.

Director Svineeth S. Sukumar presents his debut film with a strong social message. The film deeply explores modern love, family responsibilities, pre-marital relationships, and pregnancy-related decisions. It effectively conveys the emotional and physical trauma of abortion, highlighting its impact on women.

The movie starts with a breakup argument and narrates Vasu and Mano's love journey, their family backgrounds, reasons for separation, mistakes, and final decisions in an engaging non-linear screenplay. The realistic performances of the lead actors and supporting cast enhance the film.

Yuvan Shankar Raja deserves credit for producing such a unique film, even though his music does not significantly contribute. Editor Tamilarasan has ensured a smooth narrative flow. This film is an emotional experience for lovers, past and present.
