“What Ajith does is help, Vijay does publicity,” popular lady politician slams Thalapathy Vijay’s political entry

Politics has been a long-time dream for Thalapathy Vijay and the actor recently announced his new party called 'Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam'. His fans are extremely happy and are excited about his full-time political entry. Many politicians and celebrities wished and slammed him for entering politics.

Veeralakshmi, the popular lady politician and the leader of Thamizhar Munnetra Katchi, has heavily criticised Vijay for starting a new party in a recent press meet. Her statements have gone viral and caused a stir among the fans. She said that Thalapathy Vijay is doing welfare activities to seek publicity.

Veeralakshmi said, "Recently, a boy climbed on top of a lorry and fell during the FDFS of a movie. Actor Ajith clearly stated that the fans should watch the movie as a movie and he doesn't want anyone dying for him. As far as I am concerned, everyone should watch cinema as entertainment and not get immersed in it. Actors earn crores from the ticket money paid by the fans and start a political party to protect it.

But fans waste their hard-earned money to watch a movie. What has the actor or actor's association done for the fans so far? Do actors do anything like we help the family when someone dies unexpectedly in an accident? Don't spoil your life in the name of fans and take care of your parents responsibly, you can freely sacrifice your life for someone in your family, but why should you sacrifice for someone else?

Ajith does what he can to help, especially during the recent storm, but he never advertises his help. But while Vijay's fans are eating, someone on the side is holding a photo and advertising. If you help with one hand, you should help the other hand so much that you don't even know it, that is our culture."
