The trailer of the movie ‘Otha Votu Muthaiya’, starring Goundamani as the lead, has been released and has gained attention. The film is directed by Sai Rajagopal, who has previously written comedy sequences for over 70 films featuring Goundamani and Senthil.
Alongside Goundamani, the movie features actors like Yogi Babu, Chitra Lakshmanan, Singamuthu, Mottai Rajendran, and Ravi Mariya. Additionally, Singamuthu’s son Vasan Karthik, Nagesh’s grandson Gajesh, and Mayilsamy’s son Anbu Mayilsamy have played key roles. Music is composed by Siddharth Vipin.
The story revolves around elections and voting, with Goundamani delivering powerful political dialogues. Yogi Babu supports his comedy style with punch dialogues, and a few classic Goundamani-style comedy lines are also included.
Certain scenes, like the dialogue "Current wire was bitten by a rabbit…” and Yogi Babu crawling and falling at Mottai Rajendran’s feet, add a satirical touch to politics. However, the theatrical feel of the trailer suggests that the screenplay might be weak.
