Breaking! Kamal Haasan to sign a new pan Indian movie as villain after Project K?

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan never fails to create a sensation whenever he makes a bold new move. Many criticized him for agreeing to host 'Bigg Boss Tamil' in 2017 and he proved them wrong by not only making it a success by also pocketing a few hundred crore rupees as remuneration.

In the same way at the age 68, Kamal after decades has agreed to play the villain opposite Prabhas in the pan Indian scifi film 'Project K' directed by Nag Ashwin. He reportedly received a cool rupees one hundred and fifty crores for just twenty days callsheet. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. The core team including Kamal will attend the Comic Con event in San Diego on July 20th to unveil the teaser, first look and title.

Meanwhile another hot buzz is gaining momentum in Kollywood which is that Kamal had a one hour meeting with director Prashanth Neel in Chennai. It is said that the final round of talks for the Ulaganayagan to play the chief antagonist against Jr. NTR in his 31st film was discussed. The official announcement on the Jr.NTR-Kamal-Prashanth Neel project will come after the release of 'Salaar' on September 28th. Incidentally Kamal's daughter Shruti Haasan is the female lead opposite Prabhas in the gangster flick.

Kamal Haasan's next release early next year is going to be 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar. After completing 'Project K' in the next few weeks he will be hosting 'Bigg Boss Tamil 7' from October 8th and will simultaneously shoot for 'KH 233' directed by H. Vinoth.
