'Ishq Forever' is a story of Riya (Ruhi Singh) who is studying in South Africa and wants to live independently. Meanwhile her father Shushil Shankar (ChetanPandit) gets elected as the prime minister of the country due to which, many of Riya's personal activities gets restricted. Riya is kept under the supervision of a top security officer (Lisa Ray). The security starts to suffocate Riya and her privacy thus she decides to run away from all this and it’s at that point, she meets Aryan (Krishna Chaturvedi). Aryan supports her in the escape plan and gradually Riya falls in love with him. Aryan on the other hand has a dark secret which unfolds as the movie reaches at its finale.

Positive Points

Music by NadeemSaifi is indeed one of the positive points of the film. 'PyarMujhe' is one of the best tracks in the movie followed by 'Main Marr Gaya' and 'Aaja Mere Yaar'. The basic story line has some striking similarities with the movie 'Hero'. The plot line seems perfect for an entertainer. The cinematography is good and the locations are well captured.Ruhi Singh looks great, but delivers an average performance. JavedJaffery's one liners are amongst the best points of the film. Though he should have had a lengthier role in order to justify his talent. It’s great to see Lisa Ray back in films after a long gap. Sadly, bad makeup and wrong lip job ruin her natural beauty. ChetanPandit is fine in his part. ZakirHussain, ArifZakaria, RazaMurad, SharatSaxena and others do their part decently.

Negative Points

The script defies logic, making it look like an amateur work. All the twists in the film are predictable. In fact, few of them fail to justify the happenings in the film. The action scenes are so lame and lazy that in many scenes one will witness that, everyone out there are just standing in one place and giving fight poses with the background music. Every character in the film is confused and a result of bad half-baked roles. The director Sameer Sippy presents this film in typical 90's style due to which it fails to connect to its audience. The movie seems like an endless ride to boredom. Lead actor Krishna Chaturvedifails to do justice to his role.

Two Line Review

Even the comeback music of Nadeem Saifi cannot save this predictable and boring film. 'Ishq Forever', hardly has any romantic scenes which touches your heart rather, ends up as a mild infatuation.
