We already brought you the news that the Madras High Court has appointed a special retired judge Bhanumathi to arbitrate in the director Shankar vs Lyca Productions case involving 'Indian 2'.

Today the Honourable judge N. Sathishkumar dismissed all the petitions filed by Lyca Productions seeking a ban on director Shankar from helming any other project before the completion of the troubled 'indian 2. The top production house had also sought for security from the director which was also denied.

Industry analysts say that this order opens the door for Shankar to go ahead with his new projects with Ram Charan in Telugu and the 'Anniyan' Hindi remake with Ranveer Singh. There is also hope that the retired judge would bring about a truce between the two warring parties and facilitate the resumption of the much-awaited sequel.

'Indian 2' has music by Anirudh and cinematography by R. Rathnavelu. The ensemble star-cast comprises of Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Siddharth, Manobala and Samuthirakani.
