Harry Potter Reunion special teaser takes the fans down a memory lane!

The world-famous movie franchise 'Harry Potter' is all set to have a special reunion episode on HBO Max just like 'F.R.I.E.N.D.S 25 Reunion'. The fantasy film series is based on the eponymous novels by J. K. Rowling. It consists of eight fantasy flicks that also deals with magical realism.

The HP octalogy completes 20 years this year. Yesterday, HBO Max has revealed the first-look teaser for the upcoming Harry Potter reunion special titled Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts. The teaser shows different actors receiving their invitation letters sealed in an envelope in the style of the Hogwarts admission letter from the films.

The video opens with a newspaper headline reading, "Daily Prophet - Special Edition: Hogwarts Welcomes Back Almni" and takes us on a nostalgia trip with the timeless background score. The special feature likely will not be scripted and will follow the model of the recent Friends reunion, which featured conversations, tidbits, anecdotes and new revelations.

The 35-second-clip also had the glimpse of "Platform No. 9 3/4", a secret magical platform in London shown in the franchise where the plot characters board the train to the wizard school. We see Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid) and Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley) boarding the Hogwarts Express, the train that travels from the King’s Cross Station, London to the Hogsmeade station near Hogwarts.

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, Helena Bonham Carter, Gary Oldman, Ralph Fiennes and Chris Columbus among others are returning to this reunion special. A lot more cast and crew members from the movies are on the list of attendees. Meanwhile, it seems that the author Rowling won't appear in the episode as she has been mired in controversy over her alleged transphobic comments on the internet.
