As the video went viral, it got him a chance to meet Kamal Haasan in person. In the latest video of their meeting, Thirumoorthy was seen saying that he wanted to take a picture with Ulaga Nayagan at the 2020 award show, but it didn't materialise. However, he said that he was glad that he got a chance to meet him

Later, when Kamal Haasan asked him about his future plans, Thirumoorthy told him that he wanted to learn music formally. This gesture of Kamal Haasan has won many hearts.

Music composer D Imman, who introduced Thirumoorthy into the film industry with a song in Jiiva's Seeru, immediately thanked Kamal Haasan for his support. He wrote on his social media page, "I’m so elated with all the proceedings of Singer Thirumoorthi! May you Rise Higher and Higher!
