Music composer G.V. Prakash and singer Saindhavi have filed for divorce at the Chennai Family Court, stating mutual consent.
G.V. Prakash, a well-known composer and actor, and singer Saindhavi had been in a relationship for ten years before getting married in 2013. However, in 2024, they announced their decision to separate.
Recently, both G.V. Prakash and Saindhavi officially filed for divorce at the Chennai Family Court. Their lawyer, Narmadha Sampath, submitted the petition on their behalf.
The case was heard on Monday by Judge Selva Sundari at the First Additional Family Court in Chennai. Both G.V. Prakash and Saindhavi were present in court and confirmed their mutual decision to separate. Following this, the judge postponed the case for further proceedings.
The couple has a daughter named Anvi. Earlier, they arrived at the court in the same car, filed their divorce petition, and then left together.
