Exploring the Delay: Why Daaku OTT Released After 40 Days

Global star Ram Charan’s movie Game Changer was the first to release during Sankranthi and also the first to premiere on OTT among the festival releases. Now, the second Sankranthi release, Daaku Maharaaj, is set to debut on OTT. Netflix has officially announced its streaming date.

In the Telugu film industry, the gap between theatrical and OTT releases varies, but most films arrive on digital platforms within four weeks. Daaku Maharaaj, which was released on January 12th, will be available on OTT from February 21st, making the gap nearly six weeks.
