Owner of X and Tesla Elon Musk has severely attacked Brazil's Supreme Court Judge Alexandre de Moraes for suspending his Starlink internet company's bank accounts. Musk called de Moraes a "tyrant," even labeling him as "an evil dictator pretending to be a judge," "a criminal of the worst kind," in a run of postings on X. Targeting Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Musk also referred to him as Moraes's "lapdog."

The debate started when Brazil's Supreme Court banned Starlink's money, therefore stopping the business from making local purchases. This ruling relates to a continuous conflict over unpaid fines of at least 20 million reais ($3.6 million) that X was directed to pay for neglecting to produce specific paperwork. Under Brazilian law, which mandates that all internet businesses get judicial orders and be legally liable, Judge de Moraes has threatened to block X in Brazil should the corporation fail to name a legal agent in the nation.

Musk answered with a provocative post with an artificial intelligence-generated image of a man looking like de Moraes behind bars, labeled "One day, Alexandre, this picture of you in prison will be genuine. Clearly mark my words. Musk also underlined the value of Starlink's offerings in Brazil, pointing out that many isolated clinics and schools depend on it.

Emphasizing that he owns roughly 40 percent of SpaceX and that the court's actions unfairly damage both shareholders and the Brazilian public, he pledged SpaceX would keep offering free internet connection in Brazil until the problem is fixed.
