The movie ‘Saatchi Perumal’ is based on true events. Cinematographed by Madan Karthik, the film features actors such as Ashok Rangarajan, V.P. Rajasekar, Pandiyammal, M.R.K., and Veera. The music is composed by Mastaan.

Director R.P. Vinu shared insights into the film, saying, "There are always witnesses who sign documents in registrar offices. This story revolves around one such person. His family faces a crisis, and the story unfolds as he resolves it. This script was inspired by events from my own life."

In the lead role, Ashok Rangarajan delivers a noteworthy performance alongside other actors like Rajasekar and Pandiyammal, who also excel in their roles. Filming primarily took place in Periyakulam and Akamalai. Vinu stated, "I made this realistic film specifically for showcasing it at film festivals."

The movie has participated in various film festivals across India, securing 12 awards so far, with plans to send it to additional festivals. Running for just one hour, the movie is set for release on OTT platforms soon.
