Ever since the blockbuster success of ‘Kaithi’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, fans have eagerly awaited an official update on its much-anticipated sequel. While both Karthi and Lokesh Kanagaraj had previously hinted that ‘Kaithi 2’ would commence after ‘Coolie’, recent reports suggested that the film might be delayed until 2026, with Lokesh taking on another project first.

However, putting an end to these speculations, Karthi took to social media, posting: “Dilli Returns! Another wonderful year begins for Lokesh Kanagaraj.” He also shared a picture featuring himself, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and S.R. Prabhu from Dream Warrior Pictures, the production house behind the original film.

Interestingly, Karthi also tagged KVN Productions, the banner behind ‘Jananayagan’, leading to speculation that both production houses might be collaborating on ‘Kaithi 2’.

Excited fans have flooded social media with comments like “Can’t wait to see Dilli back in action!”, further solidifying the buzz that ‘Kaithi 2’ is indeed Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next big project.
