Actor Chiranjeevi has firmly stated that he will no longer be involved in politics for the rest of his life.
At a promotional event in Hyderabad for the movie "Brahma Anandam," featuring Brahmanandam and his son, Chiranjeevi participated as a special guest alongside director Nag Ashwin and other film industry personalities. He spoke about his friendship with Brahmanandam and clarified his political stance.
Chiranjeevi emphasized that he has completely stepped away from politics and will focus solely on films. He explained that his meetings with political leaders are only for the benefit of the film industry. Addressing rumors of his political comeback, he assured that he is committed only to movies and his fans. He also mentioned that his ambitions would be fulfilled by Pawan Kalyan.
Chiranjeevi entered politics in 2008 by founding the Praja Rajyam Party but later merged it with the Congress in 2011. He held various political positions until 2018 but eventually withdrew completely to concentrate on cinema. Interestingly, Pawan Kalyan, who was once the youth wing leader of Chiranjeevi’s party, later established the Jana Sena Party and is now serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
