Hyderabad Police have started filing multiple cases against influencers and TV actors who promoted betting apps on social media. A person named Vinay lodged a complaint at Panjagutta police station on March 17, urging action against those misleading the public with these promotions.

Based on his complaint, cases have already been registered against several YouTubers and social media influencers, and an investigation is underway.

Recently, top Tollywood actors have also come under the radar. At Miyapur Police Station, cases have been registered under the Commissionerate, including against popular star Vijay Deverakonda. Reports suggest that around 25 people have been booked, including actors Prakash Raj, Praneetha, Ananya Nagalla, and TV stars Siri Hanumanthu, Srimukhi, Vamsi Soundarya Rajan, Vasantha Krishna, Shobha Shetty, Amrutha Chowdhury, Naini Pavani, Neha Pathan, Pandu, Padmavati, and Imran Khan.

Actress Vishnupriya has already appeared at Panjagutta police station for questioning. She arrived with her lawyer and is currently being interrogated by the police as part of their investigation. Authorities are determined to take strict action against those found guilty of misleading the public with betting app endorsements.
