Another new director is getting ready with a mystery thriller in the movie 'Asha Black'. John Robinson is the youngster who is making a film capturing all the purity and innocence of love just like the popular hits of the yore  ‘Nakhakshathangal', 'Daisy', 'Ennennum Kannettante', 'Kshanakathu', 'Aniyathipravu' in his Asha Black  which is ready to hit the screens.

Asha Black tells the lives of a mysterious young girl who seeks emotional support outside her home.  It traces the  black episodes in Asha's life, who is living with her parents in Malaysia. Asha, is the daughter of a corporate honcho  who yearns for her father’s love. While she fails in that, Asha seeks emotional support outside her family. Here comes the entry of our hero, Arjun Lal. As their relationship grows, a murder takes place followed by an investigation into the crime.

This is the comeback movie of Arjunlal famous for playing Mohanlal’s son in the movie ‘Thanmathra’.Tamil star Sarath Kumar  comesup as Malayasian officer  Anwar Ali, who is investigating the crime. Malayalam Actor Devan and Manoj K Jayan come in significant roles in the movie. While Devan portrays Asha’s father who neglects his daughter, dedicating all his time for building up a business empire of his own, Manoj K. Jayan plays a taxi driver named Senthil, who has a key role in the film.

The movie produced simultaneously as a bilingual in  Malayalam and Tamil is made under the banner of Nimita Productions. It will feature exquisite frames by Cinematographer Alby.  Asha Black which comes with a beautiful melody and rock music has it tunes set by Jecin George. Still photographer is Arun K. Jayan.

The official Audio launch & Trailer release function of the movie was held on 25th September 2014 at Cochin. The impeccable actor Mohanlal & the ace film director Blessy graced the occasion as chief guest when ace film directors Thampi Kannanthanam and Major Ravi blessed their disciple John Roninson for his maiden venture and his genuine attempt to do a good cinema based on true lives around us.

Coming with a message for today’s youngsters, the John Robinson movie is to ignite the screens on October ten.
