As news of Ajith’s award and his team’s racing victory spread, many from the film industry and other circles congratulated him. However, rumors began circulating on social media that actor Vijay, a close friend of Ajith, had not congratulated him on either occasion. When asked about these rumors, Ajith’s manager, Suresh Chandra, clarified with a smile, saying, "These claims are entirely baseless. Vijay was among the first to congratulate Ajith Sir on his racing victory. Similarly, when the Padma Bhushan award was announced, Vijay Sir also congratulated him. Both share a genuine and heartfelt friendship. So, there is no truth to the claim that Vijay Sir didn’t extend his wishes."
